The Much Awaited Renovation will Start this September!

On Friday, April 20th, the government held a festive meeting in Independence Hall to celebrate 70 years of the State of Israel. During this meeting a decision was made to close Independence Hall for extensive renovations and conservation, after the awaited building permit was received and the main contractor was chosen in a bid

Independence Hall will be closed beginning of September 2018 and will transfer its activities to a temporary Visitors Center to be built in the eastern lobby of the Shalom-Mayer Tower

The Visitors Center`s educational program, as well as tours in the nearby vicinity, will focus on the Declaration of Independence and its values, the dramatic events surrounding the establishment of the State, and the establishment of Tel Aviv

Additional information will be published once it becomes available
